"The Blue Dot" interweaves computational and ecological cosmologies between water and the Internet. The film connects the history of the Internet Archive in San Francisco, with the Library of Alexandria, space exploration, and digital infrastructure to propose reflections on the relationship between digital technology, archival history, and the cycles of the biosphere. Through recorded and found footage and the narration of Michelle Krasowski, former librarian at the Internet Archive, "The Blue Dot" delves into the role of the internet in the production of the world.
