The landscape of flavors
The work is born in the soundscapes of four traditional kitchens, which explore intimacy through the culinary daily life of the women who stay there. These remote places, framed within the Coffee Cultural Landscape, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 2011, reveal traditional culinary practices through the exercise of listening, landscapes that open up to blind ears to fight against oblivion, to allow those interacting with the need to preserve it. The women who are in charge of these kitchens were an essential part of the listening point during the harvest months of 2019, the wood stove as a meeting and creation center intimately narrates the cooking of these women.
