The purpose of this paper is to identify the aesthetic experience as an epistemological and phenomenological reflection, based on drawing in Miami.

To this end, the Investigation, Action, Participation (IAP) methodology seeks to introduce us to the fields of aesthetics, to respond to certain concerns and to better understand the image, light and drawing in visual discourses.

It is concluded that image and light, intrinsically connected to drawing, produce new visualities, articulated to the aesthetic experience, provoking changes in images, visual signs, color and design. This is another way of understanding art in Miami and the Caribbean.
