Ed Johnston is a multimedia artist, designer and educator working in a variety of contexts related to interactive design and immersive technologies. Johnston has screened, published and exhibited his creative work and research internationally.
Highlights include his TEDx talk, New York Emmy-nominated immersive film Liberty Hall 360, Lumen Prize selection and presentation at ISEA.
Johnston has continued work on an award-winning project, Augmented Asbury Park, which involves digitally reconstructing major historical landmarks on the Asbury Park boardwalk in New Jersey using augmented reality. "
