David Quiroz
He studied social communication and journalism at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín and graduated with a master's degree in Audiovisual Writing from the Universidad del Magdalena. He is currently a partner at Árbol Visual SAS. His fiction projects include short films The Sack 1948, winning project of the Contest Stimulus of the Fund for Cinematographic Development and Root, selected in different national and international festivals. His documentary career includes short films such as Ciudad Invisible and Sembradora, made for the Casa de la Memoria Museum in Medellín. And, Las Escaleras, made during the DocsMX documentary making marathon and winner of the public award during the competition. In 2019 he was a beneficiary of the BRICC scholarship from the British Council of Colombia and carried out studies to strengthen the creative industries at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
