DA Restrepo-Quevedo is a Designer from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University of Bogotá, Specialist in Multimedia Creation from the Universidad de los Andes, Master in Media Arts from the National University of Córdoba in Argentina and the University of Chile, Master in Interaction Design and Experience Design from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, PhD in Design and Creation from the University of Caldas and Internships at the University of Barcelona and Post-Doctorate in Education, Social Sciences and Interculturality from the Santo Tomás University and internships at the University of Guadalajara.
He has dedicated more than 20 years to the study of the human mind from cognitive science, in which he has been able to publish multiple articles and make numerous presentations, conferences and artistic works at national and international events. Their concentrations in research oscillate in several nodes that allow strengthening analysis scenarios of their findings at the investigative level, these are: Conceptual Models and Mental Models, Motivation Profiles, Design Cognition [Design Cognition], Multimodality (Pseudoscience), Systemic Perspective of Creativity and scenarios from sociology and other areas of knowledge such as Communities of Practice, Social Theory of Learning and Cultural and Creative Industries, Emerging Technologies for the Development of Experience. She has been the director of multiple consultancy projects with government entities such as the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of ICT, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Mayor's Office, and district Departments of Development and Culture. where he transfers his investigative findings in community settings in different areas such as the cultural and creative sector, public policy, the productive sector and women. His most recent publications focus on understanding the way in which the human mind operates in learning or design processes.
She is an active member of the Image Studies Research Group of the Visual and Interactive Design Academic Area of the Visual and Interactive Design Academic Area of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University of Bogotá -UTadeo-. She is the director of inter-institutional research teams made up of the Sociocultural Design Study Group of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana -PUJ- in Bogotá and the Study Group and Laboratory of Digital Culture and Hypermedia Museography of the Complutense University of Madrid -UCM- (Spain). He has developed multiple investigations, currently developing two investigations through institutional funding: Relationship between Mental and Conceptual Models in the Teaching-Learning of Design that he develops together with the PUJ team in Bogotá and Extended Experience in Virtual Museography Models that he leads together with the UCM team. She is the director of the TadeoLab at UTadeo. She is a professor of the Doctorate in Design, Art and Science at UTadeo and leader of lines of research in the areas of Biocognition and Algorithmic Performativity. She also works as a professor at the Faculty of Arts and Design at UTadeo.
