She has a PhD in Visual and Intermediate Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain, in 2016 she won the "Extraordinary Prize for Doctoral Theses" at the UPV for her Thesis on Mexican Digital Art. She is the author of seven books on electronic art, creativity and design, has written more than twenty book chapters and more than forty articles in national and international magazines. He has carried out research stays in Spain, as well as has exposed the results of his research at events such as International Symposium on Electronic Art, ISEA2017, in Manizales, Colombia; 2018 in Durban, South Africa; 2019 Gwangju, South Korea; 2022 Barcelona, among others. He is a full-time Research Professor in the Department of Design and Masters and Doctorate in Arts at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico. He is a member of the National System of Researchers level II from 2017 to date. He has been a member of the Committee for the Evaluation of Postgraduate Programs in the Call for the National Quality Postgraduate Program and the Call for Admission and Permanence of the National System of CONACYT Researchers. He is Leader of the project for the creation of the Educational Program of the Doctorate in Visual Arts of the Division of Architecture, Art and Design, of the Guanajuato Campus. He is currently studying the Ibero-American Doctorate in Aesthetic Theories.
