PhD in Design and Creation, director of the Hypermedia Laboratory, leader of the line of research in digital aesthetics. Artist and research professor at the School of Social Communication at the Universidad del Valle.

Professor Lizarralde's experience has focused on the investigation of communication and digital aesthetics and the production of hypermedia works, exploring the languages and current means of representation.

His work has been exhibited in important events worldwide, critically and aesthetically addressing the interplay between art-technology-society.
