Claudia Oliveira (Portugal) is a designer and new media artist. He has a Master's Degree in Digital Arts from the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona) and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Design from the School of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. His work sits at the intersection of design, art, and technology. Working primarily with and outside of digital media, his projects often make use of the limitations of the digital world as an expressive tool, creating work that questions the perception of reality mediated and manipulated by technology.
Claudia has shown her work at various institutions and festivals such as Sónar, V2_ Lab for the Unstable Media, Science Gallery Dublin, HeK House of Electronic Arts, Mutek Barcelona, Elektricity Festival, Loop Barcelona and Future Places. His artwork has been featured on Motherboard (US, FR), L'Obs (FR), El Periódico (ES), The Discovery Channel (CA), Creative Applications, and The Creators Project.
