“18 artists on stage including musicians, performers and visual artists assemble a score in which, through audiovisual improvisation, they link different projection technologies; artisan projectors together with a digital projection in which images and sound are mixed in real time through editing software. Our performance intends to build open narratives that generate an expanded cinematographic experience, a set of multiple emotions in the spectator based on light as the creative axis, music, image and live sound.
History Line:
A man wakes up several times in the middle of the night and assumes the experience of each of his dreams as true.
Technique: Performance – live cinema.
Audiovisual staging that unites various projection technologies; overhead projectors, slides, home theater systems and light optical machines, as well as a state-of-the-art projector that mixes images and sound in real time through editing software.
The Ciclux collective was born as an academic result of the recent Photosynthesis Festival organized in collaboration with institutions such as the UdeA, Parque Explora and ITM, so that the proposal that we are sending you today is in the process of being prepared and will soon be presented next 5 March on the facade of the Museum of Antioquia as a prelude to the closing of the Med15 Art Meeting. It is for this reason that in the links that we send for visualization you will find the starting point that motivated us to create the new work and establish ourselves as an artistic Collective, with the intention of delving into the study of light and the various projection systems that allow alternative cinematographic experiences from collective creation, where light generates the magic of the staging. The story and images have been created by art students, as well as the musical composition by music and music engineering students from both faculties. We prepared the Fotosíntesis Festival website with the memory of the event held in 2015 and with samples of both experiences that we decided to merge: the results of the projector workshop and the Live Cinema Audiovisual Experimentation Laboratory. With the interested students and two allied professors, we decided to conceive a new work, whose first rehearsal will be tomorrow, February 27, after the closing of this call. So if we can, we can send you the download link of the complete work until next March 6. In the same way, in this form we send the link with the complete work as a result of the initial workshop of artisan projectors (we share the link with the festival email of the image) where you can get a clear idea about the staging and music Likewise, on the site you will find images and videos of the process of the Live Cinema Audiovisual Experimentation Laboratory (http://festivalfotosintesis.wix.com/inicio)
In advance, we greatly appreciate your understanding and the possibility of competing with other proposals that are already consolidated. “
