Talk: Ecosystems of citizen innovation, the case of frenalacurva.net
In 24 hours, the LAAAB promoted an initiative called Frena la Curva, it did so together with companies, activists, volunteers, makers and open innovation laboratories. This platform scaled in just a few days to 22 countries, created a repository of citizen initiatives that exceeds 1,000 actions (the largest guide in Spanish in the world). FLC's map of Ushahidi surpassed half a million visitors and spread to 18 countries. All this thanks to a digital community of more than 1,000 people collaborating, some thirty transdisciplinary teams, including the Common Challenges call that accumulated 140 initiatives from 15 countries and a festival that involved the celebration of the entire process with 75 speakers. How was all this possible? What are the keys that drove this experience? What is the LAAAB systemic innovation model that fostered this digital community?
