Musician and cultural manager from Sogamos. He studied music at the Escuela Superior de Música de Tunja where he was also a member of the Stable Choir and later of the Chamber Choir. He formalized his orchestral practice in the Pre-Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Colombia as a double bass player.

He graduated with a degree in Music from the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional and as a Specialist in Educational Games from the Fundación Universitaria "Juan de Castellanos".

He later completed a Master's Degree in Musical Composition with New Technologies at the University of La Rioja UNIR. He has worked as a teacher, pedagogue, guitarist, arranger, composer, music producer and choral conductor.

He has been Director and co-founder of the Sogamoseña Choral Association from 1991 to the present. He has also been Artistic Director of the Centro de Estudio Musicales CEM de Sogamoso. Director of the Choir UPTC Seccional Sogamoso. He settled in Casanare from 2003 to 2013 serving as Director of the Polyphonic Choir of Casanare, Director of the House of Culture of Aguazul and Director of the group "Voces y Cuerdas" of the Unitrópico University.

In 2014 he returns to Sogamoso where he serves as Director of the Children and Youth Choir and the Polyphonic Choir of Sogamoso. In February 2015 he was appointed Director of the Municipal School of Music "Jorge Camargo Spolidore", a function he currently performs. He directs the Chamber Choir and the Polyphonic Choir of the Sogamoseña Choral Association ASOCORAL.
