"Edge of Snow"

In the tropics, a new landscape emerges where the snows we used to call perpetual disappear. Humans build the first artificial super moor: a monument to the high mountain, and at the same time, a portal to travel to that ancient time of ice. Different audiovisual materials are brought together to build a heterogeneous idea about the thaw and possible origin of the Páramo landscape.

«Borde de Nieve» is an experimental documentary short film project that investigates, from its audiovisual grammar, the disappearance of the glacier in the mountains of the tropics and the origin of the páramo ecosystem. This is the result of a research-creation process that appropriates scientific and artistic knowledge.
