Arnau Gifreu Castells is a producer and consultant for interactive and transmedia projects. Interactive media advisor and collaborates with the Somos Documentales project (RTVE.ES). Coordinates interDocsBarcelona (+ Medellín and Valparaíso). He has been co-director of the production company Espill Media (2013-2017).
In relation to interactive and transmedia projects, he has participated in the direction (COME/IN/DOC, interactive of The TV3 Marathon), executive production and transmedia (cyborg projects, the negotiators), project manager (Bugarach. How to survive the apocalypse), script and coordination (sex, maracas and Chihuahuas), advisory (town criers of medellin, The Hatless,Living Metaphor – EICTV30!) and academic tutoring (final projects Uvic-UCC 2007-2012 and Eram/UDG 2013-2017).
He is a Research Affiliate of the Open Documentary Lab (MIT) and a member of the i-Docs organization (University of the West of England). Author of articles and books on interactive and transmedia non-fiction and the case of the interactive documentary. Professor at ERAM (University of Girona).
