The authors are graduate professors of the Design course of the Department of Arts and Design of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), involved with teaching-learning and practices of social and participatory design for nearly 30 years.

Carlos André Lameirao Courts is Master in Design (PUC-Rio). I have experience other than teaching design projects since the year 1997, with an emphasis on the Design in Partnership methodology. I also work in the area of arts, social design, art-education, painting and illustration.

Jackeline Farbiarz He is Master of Letters (PUC-Rio) and Doctor of Education (USP). Acts as Director of the Department of Arts & Design of PUC-Rio. Professor of the Post-Graduation Program in Design at PUC-Rio. She created and coordinates the Language Laboratory, Interaction and Construction of Senses-Design, of which Renata and André are researchers. Develop research on the design of the service of education inserted in the right Human Sustainability. It guides research that reflects on Design as a builder and co-author of social meanings. Atua in the formation of designer and educator for inclusion focused on active methodologies, participatory spaces of teaching-learning, pedagogy of multiliteracies, design in partnership and gamification of teaching-learning practices.

Renata Mattos Eyer de Araujo He is a Master in Design (PUC-Rio), with a PhD in Design in the course of the Department of Arts & Design of PUC-Rio. I have experience other than teaching design projects since the year 1998, with an emphasis on the Design in Partnership methodology. She acts as Coordinator of the Nucleus of Support and Inclusion of People with Disabilities (NAIPD), Vice President for Academic Affairs of PUC-Rio and of the Office of Assistive Technology of the Center for Independent Life of Rio de Janeiro (CVI-Rio). It works in the areas of social design, inclusive design, development of products for people with disabilities and inclusive education.
