Animatronics for Stop Motion

Stopmotion animation is a technique used to create short movies and videos by manipulating physical objects, capturing one image at a time. One of the most important aspects of stopmotion animation is the ability to create realistic and emotional characters, which requires precise manipulation of the objects used. In this workshop we will use the eyes as one of the most important aspects of any character, since they are capable of transmitting emotions and subtle expressions. In this workshop, we will focus on teaching participants how to program eye animatronics for stopmotion animation.

This one-day workshop is designed to teach participants how to assemble eye animatronics for stopmotion animation. During the workshop, participants will learn techniques to create different types of eye movements, including blinking eyes, eyes moving from side to side. They will also learn how to integrate eye animatronics into stopmotion animation characters.
