Andres Gaona

Andrés Gaona is a composer, arranger, guitarist and educator born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1989. Since 2009 he studied classical guitar at the National Pedagogical University of Bogotá, with professors Jaime Arias Obregón and María Cristina Ortiz. In 2011 and 2012, he attended the cycle of the Preparatory Program, of the ASAB Faculty of Arts of the Francisco José de Caldas District University of Bogotá, in classical guitar with Professor Daniel Forero.
In 2013 he began the Undergraduate Degree in Composition and Arrangements at the Faculty of Arts - ASAB, Francisco José de Caldas District University in Bogotá, where he has trained with Colombian composers Carlos Guzmán, Gustavo Lara, Luis Sánchez, Daniel Leguizamón and Rodolfo Acosta, where he also continued classical guitar studies with Professor Sonia Viteri.
