Alexander Rojas
Researcher on issues of cultural management, art and heritage. He is Teaching Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, Professor of Cuban Studies at the Higher Institute of International Relations (ISRI). Director of the National Center for Art Schools (1999). He has been Head of Office of the Minister of Culture, director of the National Center for the Improvement of Culture of the Ministry of Culture, President of the National Council of Plastic Arts and Director of the Casa del ALBA Cultural.
He has taught at universities in Venezuela, Mexico, Nicaragua, Ecuador, Colombia (Universidad de Manizales, Caldas) and Argentina. He has published, among others: "Notes for a dialogue between cultural policies and practices", "Theoretical references and challenges of cultural processes at the local and community level", "Cultural management in the university training of the artist" and "The platform of cultural actors: the place of the University of the Arts”.
