“It is a tribute to the memory of the teacher Augusto Rivera, who died 34 years ago. Rivera was exalted by the curator Martha Traba and enjoyed wide recognition along with Obregón, Grau and Negret. Despite having been one of the most important painters of the 20th century in Colombia and Latin America, today his work is not remembered.
“18 artists on stage including musicians, performers and visual artists assemble a score in which, through audiovisual improvisation, they link different projection technologies; artisan projectors together with a digital projection in which images and sound are mixed in real time through editing software. Our performance intends to build open narratives that generate an expanded cinematographic experience, a set of multiple emotions in the spectator based on light as the creative axis, music, image and live sound.
