Luis Szarán is a prominent Paraguayan musician, conductor, composer and musical researcher. He has performed directing symphonic and chamber organizations from America and Europe. He is principal conductor of the Symphony Orchestra of the City of Asunción (OSCA) and the Philomusic Orchestra of Asunción. He has premiered works of his own authorship in numerous international festivals and has obtained the National Music Award granted for the first time in Paraguay by the National Parliament in 1997."

DéjàVu is formed as a hybrid creation in which visual narration (cinema, numerical arts), musical narration (acoustic, electric and electronic) and scenographic illustration (mapping, lights creation) intertwine.” This multimedia creation dives the viewer into a live tale through the agency of filmic, scenographic and musical devices with multiple narrative processes. At the height of projections, video loops, sound designs and subjectivities dwells the idea of a musical experience and film temporalities. With a present divided in two by the interactivity between video mix and musical performance, the real doesn't go against the imaginary anymore: they build a dynamic movement.

Its members, who come from different backgrounds, seek to interact artistically in the same space under no limitations of style or aesthetics. Which includes openness to works in collaboration with multimedia and performance. Simultaneously with their artistic activity, the LIE trio founded in 2012 an alternative educational collective in Helsinki called Lapland Improvisations. This project offers students from different fields of sound and musical interest various courses, workshops and concerts throughout the year. During its foundation, the collective has had prestigious artists from multiple disciplines as guest workshop leaders.

VIDEOS PAIN. TRANSVISUAL ITINERANCES is an exhibition that invites you to discover the most transgressive and visionary works produced by Spanish video artists in the fruitful field of new media art. The exhibition has the support of the Spanish Cooperation through the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) and brings together the most current and avant-garde of the Spanish audiovisual scene. Curated by Lury Lech and traveling internationally, after passing through Lima the exhibition will be presented in other Latin American countries in 2015. With a wide selection of 21 projects, the works are based on the collection of the Archive of the Audiovisual Digital Art and Contemporary Advanced Technologies-MADATAC Exhibition that is held annually in Madrid.
