It proposes to present the paradoxes of Fashion as a system, in search of a discourse that manages to synthesize the idea of a Subject that is a consumer/consumed. The popular icons of the show are also represented here as a logo. Diva=Logo= Consumer product. Logos, which dress but at the same time undress the user of their own identity, liquefied in the subjective value that the Knowledge society and the market build on them, hearing in the process, the voice of the sirens' song.

VideoArt News by Paulo RC Barros is a collection of 18 videos, produced in 2008/2009, with partners, based on the minimalist principles. This work intends to induce a perception of the visual language through abstract and conceptual themes. The decomposition or rearrangement of repetitive sounds and images, with small variations and almost hypnotic rhythms, delineate the artwork. The techniques and artifices used in the conception of the videos aim to produce an innovative and stunning perspective, that can be screened even in open spaces creating an intervention of digital media with public and urban spaces, changing and challenging the way we see the constructed urban infrastructure. The recycling of the visual and sonorous signs, the fragmentation and the impious dismount of their parts, the intentional repetition, allow the creation of an abstract, pulsing, hypnotic and seducing form of art. The video arts soundtracks were composed using a mix of experimental sounds produced by turntablism and circuit-bending techniques.
