        The Alabao and the Gualíes are the songs with which the blacks of the Afro communities of the Colombian Pacific, accompany the ritual of farewell of their dead; with the belief that with the song they help the passage of the deceased to eternity. The alabaos are for adults and the gualíes for children.

        "Paramo de la Sarna"

        The idea arose from a massacre that occurred on December 1, 2001 on the road that leads from Sogamoso, the city where I live, to the Orinoquía region. There, 15 people who were traveling on an intermunicipal bus were murdered. The paramilitaries stopped the bus in that lonely place known as El Páramo de la Sarna, took the people down and executed them.

        "Study for a landscape #2"

        This work proposes different scenes of rural life through electroacoustic narration, in which the characters assume various forms: rivers, animals, humans and machines. The story is framed in the context of dynamic landscapes that are mixed according to acoustic similarities (timbre, rhythm, grain and dynamic profile).

        Musician and cultural manager from Sogamos. He studied music at the Escuela Superior de Música de Tunja where he was also a member of the Stable Choir and later of the Chamber Choir. He formalized his orchestral practice in the Pre-Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Colombia as a double bass player.
