Andreas Lutz
Andreas Lutz (b. 1981 in Freiburg i. Br.) is a German media artist. In his work, I have analyzed the phenomena of perception in relation to reality and the relationship of semiotics and sound with audiovisual installations. Lutz graduated from the University of Applied Sciences with a diploma in Media and Information Engineering in 2009. His early work concerns alternative human-machine interaction. "Because clicking is so 90", a natural user interface controllable only with gestures and voice, has received the Webby Award in 2010. In 2012, he founded the interdisciplinary studio KASUGA, which is active in the experimental field of design, interaction and sound, and develops audiovisual installations, integrated systems of interactions and contemporary pieces of media art. Andreas Lutz's work has been exhibited at the National Art Center in Tokyo, at the Karlsruhe Center for Art and Media, at the Örebro Open Art Biennale (Sweden) and at the 19th Japan Media Arts Festival
