Tomoko Mukaiyama

One of the most prestigious piano performers today, and also one of the most peculiar. As a pianist, Tomoko is acclaimed for her vivid interpretations of both historical and modern compositions. For two decades she has also developed as a visual artist, which has led her to rethink the concert space as a stage for installations and performances, in which music is combined with contemporary dance, fashion and visual art.

Anoush Moazzeni

Persian-born concert pianist, composer and performer, interdisciplinary composer, researcher-creator, educator, and posthuman thinker, she enjoys a performing career that has often taken her around the world. Highlights of recent seasons include visits to the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East. It has performed at various venues in New York, Maine, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Paris, Lyon, Cologne, Amsterdam, Rethymnon/Greece, Tehran, and Esfahan/Iran. Currently, he focuses his piano performance practice on the repertoire of mixed music for piano and electronics, augmented piano, prepared piano and Disklavier and an interactive audiovisual computer system, since the development of his art consists of the interaction between artistic interpretation and academic reflection.

John Paul Pacheco

Juan Pablo presents “Liquid Democracy” (2018), a video installation that was produced with the support of Espacio Odeón, and that today is exhibited at Plaza Digital Alianza Francesa in Bogotá, in connection with the International Image Festival.
Artist and curator with a BA in Film and Cultural Studies from Connecticut College, and an MA in Visual Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute, whose work focuses on video, curation, and contemporary practices. His research and artistic work are marked by reflections on the construction of the image and knowledge, especially from the digital technological revolutions.

Estefania Garcia Pineda

Estefanía presents “Latitud Cerro Matoso, Towards a body geography of the conflict” (2017), selected as a Grant for Solo Show of the 16th Centro Occidente Regional Salon of Artists of the Colombian Ministry of Culture. It is exhibited at Plaza Digital Alianza Francesa in Bogotá, in connection with the International Image Festival.
Master in Plastic Arts University of Caldas. Internship "Anti-drug policy in post-conflict times" at the National University of Colombia Bogotá DC Independent artist and curator. He has worked on multiple collective and individual processes based on the environment, memory, and the armed conflict in various regions of Colombia. His investigation starts from economic, political and social situations that are within the problems of Colombia, which are nourished by a historical evolution that provides his actions with a solid structure for an artistic projection of social phenomena.

Alejandro Londoño Urdaneta

Alejandro presents “Untitled (series: digital fasias)”, 2017. It is exhibited at Plaza Digital Alianza Francesa in Bogotá, in connection with the International Image Festival.
Graduated in Plastic Arts from the Universidad de los Andes in 2012. Londoño wonders about a context where computer machines seem to take over the world to blur the boundaries between reality and fiction. The raw material of his work is related to codes, numbers and algorithms, using complex computerized translations and transforming them into a plastic language. In his work he tries to materialize coded information, which is "intangible", in a constant search for the recovery of the analogue in the continuous evolution of the digital world.

Juan Jose Garcia

Juan José García Ortiz is a Colombian artist living in the United States who has begun to stand out in the artistic milieu of Miami and New York. His works are an exploration of human wonder. Her work seeks to measure and understand phenomena of the universe using culture and family. Juan José is a graduate of The Cooper Union University for the advancement of Science & Art in New York and has studied at L'Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France. He was the winner of the American Institute for Graphic Arts Worldstudio scholar award and the National YoungArts Foundation award in the United States. Atractor (consisting of Juan Cortés, Alejandro Villegas, Juan José López and Juan Camilo Quiñones) is an interdisciplinary studio from Bogotá, Colombia. The group is specialized in electronics, sound synthesis, sound, programming and creation of installations and machines, combining analog and digital technology. The collective designs and develops sound installations and experiences that seek to question the diffuse barriers between the humanities and scientific disciplines.
