Bogotá, many public spaces have been intervened by artists, illustrators, graffiti artists or anyone with the desire to paint the street. The tracks became the corridors of the urban museum. Among many drawings, colors and techniques, the one that inspired this photo caught my attention to reproduce and reinterpret it.

It is an article headline. The most used words by media and politicians are: alert, danger and catastrophe. The violence wielded by an alarmist and defeatist society produces scared and secluded men who have no ambition. In the video the protagonist shelters in a garret, where she is weaving a spider web to catch the “malicious” mosquito.

MIeRROR / Exhibited at FILE 2012 (Sao Paulo, Brazil) is an installation built by a semi-transparent mirrored “aquarium”. Due to this characteristic in its construction, the object has the particularity of reflecting an image and also projecting it as if it were a screen.
