He was director of Cultural Outreach at the National University of Colombia, at the Bogotá campus, and of International Relations, at the Medellín campus. He was director of Research, Culture, National and International Relations and Vice-rector of Research and Extension of the Metropolitan Technological Institute-ITM of Medellín.

      Mariela Sancari was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1976. She has lived and worked in Mexico City since 1997. Her work revolves around identity and memory. It examines the personal relationships linked to memory and the thin and elusive line between memories and fiction. She has received numerous awards: selected by curator Susan Bright for BJP magazine's 2015 Ones to Watch issue, she was also named one of FotoFest's Discoveries of the Meeting Place 2014. Winner of the VI Yucatán National Biennial of Visual Arts 2013 and of the Descubrimientos PHotoEspaña 2014 Award, his work was selected at the XVI Photography Biennial of the Centro de la Imagen and received an Honorable Mention at the XI Monterrey FEMSA Biennial, with his series Moisés. He obtained an Honorable Mention in the 2012 Monterrey National Biennial Artemergent Official Selection with his series El caballo de dos cabezas.

      Jorge Hernan Garcia

        Jorge H García is a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for International Climate and Environmental Research - Oslo, Norway (CICERO) and a Visiting Faculty at the Economics Department at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana – Bogotá, Colombia. Jorge's work has dealt with the design and evaluation of environmental policy in a number of areas including energy, forestry, manufacturing and transport. He has experience from working on environmental issues in different contexts, including countries such as Egypt, India, Indonesia and South Africa. He earned a PhD in economics from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden in 2007 and later became a researcher at the United States Environmental Protection Agency US EPA.

His photographic work has been awarded 35 national and international prizes, including 15 first places. His work in nature photography has been published in the books "Agua, Riqueza de Colombia", "Flying Colombia Paisajes", "Orquídeas, Especies de Colombia", "Colombia en Flor", "Colombia, Megadiverso country" and "Colombia, Biodiversity Paradise”. He has traveled 31 departments of Colombia in search of their treasures, heritage and natural destinations.
