      Liliana Anaz


      Mexico

      Lili_Anaz is a communicologist, photographer, writer and hackfeminist artist. Her projects explore the intersection between art, bodies, memory, resistance, free technologies, autonomous networks and digital collective care. She is the coordinator and co-founder of the Interconnectivity Laboratory and an accomplice of the Hackfeminist Self-Defenses project. She is also the author of the transmedia artistic project Sustained Look. He was part of the artistic collective Astrovandalistas. As a consultant and defender, she has developed and coordinated communication strategies, social campaigns, accompaniments, and workshops for the promotion of human rights and the eradication of violence against women and LGBTQIA+ identities. It inhabits the internet from a refuge between volcanoes.

PhD candidate in the Department of Media Study at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he served as a research assistant at the Center for Architecture and Situated Technologies and at Coalesce, Center for Biological Art. He is director of Medialabmx, an organization focused in research on the links between art, technology and politics.
