June 11 to 18, 2018
XVII INTERNATIONAL IMAGE FESTIVAL
The new expeditions arise as a need to observe the changing landscapes, which are affected by global problems, by the growing increase in poverty and inequality, by changes in the environment. Only a creative and multidisciplinary vision will make it possible to find routes that allow the generation of a balance between the human being and nature, in pursuit of well-being, dignity, equity and peace.Initiatives that take place in open laboratories and in the context of post-digital practices are presented within the framework of the Festival: Bottom-up visions, low tech, emerging collectives, conceptual hybridizations, transparent technologies and open data.
The event had a total of 467 activities, in a program that included interactive exhibitions, performances, seminars, concerts, film and video shows, forums, and workshops.
