Sergio Rodríguez Gómez is an artist, semiotician, and PhD in Communication, Languages, and Information. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and a professor in the Master’s program in Digital Humanities at Universidad de los Andes. His work blends academic research in areas such as biosemiotics, the history of cybernetics, and aesthetic theory with artistic practice through comics and the creation of text, sound, and image using computational media. He is a member of the comic artist collective 4mesas.
