Núria Nia’s artistic practice initially stems from audiovisual media, expanding from video art and video essays to installation, sculpture, performance, textual publications, and interventions in everyday media—always anchored in the interplay between the physical and the digital, collective space, and shared online archives. Her work bridges a past of cables and satellites with the specter of collapse haunting the imaginary of a possible future.

Núria Nia is a Ph.D. candidate in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona and teaches audiovisual culture, new media, and digital art at several Barcelona universities. She combines teaching, artistic practice, and cultural/audiovisual production.
