Laura Colmenares Guerra is a Colombian-Brussels-based artist working with installation, sculpture, and digital 3D narratives (VR, animation, 3D-printed ceramics). Her research-driven practice critiques Western societies’ disconnect from ecosystems, using interactive installations to provoke bodily engagement with environmental themes like breathing (“Lungs [the Breather]”) or water systems (“Lagunas”). A former video performer in Bogotá’s techno scene, she now creates audiovisual collaborations and focuses on extractivism’s impact on the Amazon.
