
Fernanda López (b. 1991, Santiago, Chile). Visual artist holding a Bachelor of Arts from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Visual Arts from Universidad de Chile. Her research-based practice examines the relationships between individuals and their cultural, social, political and natural environments, with recent focus on understanding living systems and the essence of life.
She is currently participating in the Naturocultura residency at Universidad de Las Américas’ Language and Creation Center, where she’s developing her project “Forms of Symbiotic Survival”. López was recently nominated for the EFG Latin America Award at Ch.ACO art fair.
