
Asher Remy-Toledo is a cultural producer and innovator, originally from Colombia and based in New York, with over two decades of groundbreaking work at the intersection of art, technology, and strategic collaborations.
As the founder and director of the pioneering organization Hyphen Hub, Asher has redefined the boundaries of creative technology by curating and producing live events, exhibitions, and art salons where he presents global trend setters and thinkers that explore the frontiers of innovation and digital culture.
Since 2017, he has been an international guest curator and strategic advisor for the Festival de la Imagen, fostering global collaborations with key institutions and leaders in art and technology. He has also served as a jury member, speaker, and selection committee participant at Ars Electronica and has supported Latin American new media artists through various global festivals and advisory committees.
Asher has held several fellowships, including one at F.A.C.T. Liverpool, and is currently a fellow at CultureHub/La MaMa Experimental Theater in New York. His forward-thinking initiatives include co-founding No Longer Empty, a New York-based non-profit that transformed vacant spaces into site-specific artistic interventions, and co-founding New York Creative Tech Week, a major platform connecting artists and technologists from the creative industries.
