The International Image Festival and the Bank of the Republic, Manizales headquarters, invite you to participate in the free workshop Expanded Virrealities that will be dictated by the artist Solimán López from Spain, the workshop will take place on November 19 and 20, 10: 00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Soliman is a contemporary artist who specializes in creation, sociology, and technology. He is the founder of the Harddiskmuseum and the director of Innovation at the Higher School of Art and Technology of Valencia. He runs the Updated Art Studio in Paris, a production team made up of professionals in electronics, programming, science, art, design and technology.
In Expanded Virrealities, the student will see, from the hand of the artist, some of his production techniques for works in which they play with data and concepts from the real world and combine with the digital world. Techniques such as photogrammetry, data capture and interface creation and of course the world of 3D production.
This workshop is aimed at those interested in New Media production, designers, artists and architects of all ages.
