    Milton Riaño is a Colombian multidisciplinary artist who uses technology as a means to create futuristic experiences of contemplation. Through his work, Riaño builds surreal landscapes inhabited by audiovisual loops that are in an eternal state of transformation and that question our perception of space and time. His work has been presented in different installation and Live Act formats in Colombia and Canada. Currently, Riaño lives in Montreal, where he is carrying out a research-creation project in art and technology at the University of Montreal.

    He is an extra-disciplinary designer, pirate researcher, and educator. He is an academic at the RMIT School of Design in Melbourne, teaching on the Master of Communication Design. Oliver co-founded Memefest in 2002 and is the Principal Curator of the Memefest festival for Radical Design + Communication and facilitator of the international Memefest network. He is the author of Socially Responsive Communication (2008) and co-editor, with Nikola Janovic, of Demonstrating Relevance: Socially Responsive Communication Responsiveness, Theory, Practice, and Imagination (2010) and Debt to Intervene: Critical Lessons on Debt, Communication, Art and Theoretical Practice (2015).

    Film director graduated in Social Communication from the Universidad del Valle with a master's degree in film directing from the London Film Scholl, UK. His work includes: “Invisible Tracks”, “I wouldn't sit next to myself”, “How to kiss a dead girl”, “The Taste in Our Tongues”, among others. His films and projects have been selected at national and international festivals such as Clermont-Ferrand, Premier Plans Festival d'Angers, Bratislava Film Festival and the Fabrique des Cinemas du Monde, among others.

    Graphic designer graduated from the Departmental Institute of Fine Arts and animator. He is a doctor from the University of Buenos Aires. Appointed professor at the Universidad del Valle. His films include “Rutina” and “El cojito” broadcast by Wired.com; “Sonidos de barro”, “CicloM” and “Origem”, selected in festivals such as Clermont Ferrand, FICCALI, CineToro, among others.
