Luisa Hilmer is a designer and design historian based in Hamburg, Germany. She trained in Social Design at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg and is a graduate of the MA History of Design programme at the Royal College of Art and Victoria & Albert Museum, London. Luisa works in curation and exhibition planning at the Museum for Arts and Crafts Hamburg and for the Vitra Design Museum. Her research focuses on contemporary and historical participatory design processes, the formation of space, contemporary design practices and museology. She further demonstrates her passion for supporting the design community through her role as the Hamburg chapter curator of the Design Calendar.
