Our intention is to tackle relevant problems in communities and cities through design processes. We work with architectural, scenic and social lighting design; fashion design, stage design and public art.

Taller Creando Sin Encargos is a design collective founded in 2012, based in San Juan, Puerto Rico led by Yazmín M. Crespo MArch, Omayra Rivera PhD, and Irmaris Santiago MArch. The collective has developed participatory design-build projects titled Arquitecturas Colectivas. Our mission is to investigate, construct and support architecture that promotes equity in all scenarios. We look at how design and architecture can have agency in the ideation and construction of spaces.
