S.Hochwarter, B. Farshchian
Stefan Hochwarter is a PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Science, Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He has a background in Computer Science and Health Informatics and prior to becoming a PhD student, he worked in industry as a mobile and web developer and completed a Public Health Informatics fellowship at the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, USA. He investigates the design, implementation and use of welfare/assistive technologies. Specially he is interested in how this technology changes the way healthcare services are delivered, what role the home of the users plays, and how work is influenced by these technologies. His research addresses areas in Computer Supported Collaborative Work, Participatory Design and Information Systems.
Babak A. Farshchian is an associate professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), where he teaches software engineering, and empirical research methods. Babak’s research interests lie within computer-supported cooperative work, information systems and software engineering. He has a Dr.Ing. degree from NTNU.
