Damarys Gancino Melo
I was born on December 1st, 1999. At the age of 5 I entered the Centro Educativo Fe y Alegría Garcés Navas where I studied primary, secondary and high school, I graduated from there being a high school graduate with honors, technician in Software Programming and with a scholarship that I took advantage of to study a semester of Biomedical Engineering at the Universidad de los Andes, but after thinking about it the following semester I decided to transfer to Graphic Design at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. In the penultimate semester I participated in the Creative Writing Workshop dictated by IDARTES where I stimulated the taste I have for reading and of course, writing. Simultaneously, I joined the Theory and History of Graphic Design seedbed in the last year of my career, which allowed me to finish my Degree Project in a joint work with my classmates who are listed as co-researchers in this document: Alejandra, María Rosa and Julián. Within this project I was able to work from one of the things that I like most in the academy, which is Research, a focus that I wish to continue exploring.
