He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México, a specialty in solar energy from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, a master's degree in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency from the Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México and a doctorate in engineering sciences in the area of energy systems from the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México.

His performance has led him to give seminars and conferences that address important aspects of the energy sector, for which he has had international participation in Latin America, highlighting presentations in Bolivia, Costa Rica and Colombia. 

In the professional sector he has served as an energy consultant and has been involved in various renewable energy projects, ranging from residential projects to photovoltaic plants of 30 Megawatts, wind power plants and biogas plants. He has also served as a university professor in the area of engineering since 2015.

He is currently an undergraduate professor at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México. In the School of Engineering he has been a member of the Academic Council and President of the Renewable Energy Academy.
