IX MARKET OF DESIGN, ART AND TECHNOLOGY 21ST INTERNATIONAL IMAGE FESTIVAL
The International Image Festival, in order to contribute to the strengthening of the ecosystem of the country's Creative and Cultural Industries, holds the IX version of the D+A+T Market. A scenario of dialogue for the identification of opportunities and the development of commercial, artistic and cultural exchanges framed in the dynamics of the regional, national and international creative ecosystem. The IX Design, Electronic Art and Technology Market will be held on October 19th, 20th and 21st, 2022 in Manizales, Colombia, at the Centro Cultural Universitario Rogelio Salmona. For this edition, the Market is articulated with the launching of Salmona Creative District and the development of the 1st Salmona Fair, led by this city initiative. Likewise, continuity is given to the cross ecosystem processes that characterize the Market, convening a conversation around local and regional platforms and festivals around design and interactive art, transmedia and audiovisual creation, digital animation, video games, city narratives, music, theater and film.

"Uará"

The work consists of the exhibition of poems that inhabit the wi-fi networks, and can be read by entering the wi-fi configuration of the cell phone. A device capable of creating wi-fi points of various configurable names is programmed to create as many networks as verses, and through the ASCII code are ordered to appear as a text that lives in the air, and can be decoded with a tool that we use on a daily basis.

"Digital Cosmos A/V"

Digital Cosmos explores soundscape, bio acoustic, dance music, ambient, techno, glitch, electro acoustic and sound synthesis together with reactive audio visual projection generated in real time, exposing sounds that cross electronic music experimentation, using data analysis and algorithmic to generate digital landscapes and virtual acoustic spaces, evoking small visual and sound worlds that oscillate between order and randomness, in a show that seeks transits of the viewer between the contemplative and immersive to the energetic and enveloping.

For RTVC-Public Media System and Radio Nacional de Colombia, the arrival of covid-19 coincided with the need to open new stations in territories ravaged by war. How to exalt the cultural values of these regions when you are confined by a pandemic? The solution was found in the creation of a music festival that remotely gave account of the development of the regional and peasant sounds of each of these places. Thanks to this endeavor, a handful of emerging artists began to take an important leap towards other scenarios, perhaps unimaginable for them at some point.
