She studied photography and visual arts at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Her work is multidisciplinary, with a concern for the body as a diverse matter in connections and mutations, a technofeminist imaginary of mythological futures; she balances between the boundaries of the sacred and the profane, the archaic, kitch, and cyborg.
She studied photography at the International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York. She has done workshops with photographers such as Larry Towell, Ferdinando Scciana, Alberto García Alix, and Riki Dávila, among others.
